In the FORBES DIAMONDS ranking, ZT "Kruszwica" S.A. was awarded #2 among largest Polish companies. Tommy Jensen, the President of Kruszwica Management Board, requested by Marcin Kaczmarczyk for reasons why Kruszwica has not been affected by the crisis, responds:
- For many years we have been following one and the same strategy. The strategy based on three foundamental pillars: consolidation, broadest possible participation in the category value chain and diversified business portfolio, which reduces the risk which always accompanies volatile markets, such as the one in which we run our business. This all has allowed to build safety cushion for more difficult time, such as the one we have witnessed in the last years. For us the most important thing is to consistently follow strategic business aims of the Company, with little regard to economy business cycles, as they are, were and will always be. This is why, we do not become extravagant when the times are good and do not panic when the cycle is less favourable.
